Da Bears

I have been a Bears fan for as long as I can remember.  For years and years, this meant seasons with the amount of wins in a season that you can count on one hand.  Not too impressive, but the Bears as of late, haven't been as bad as they have been.

2 years ago, they went to the Super Bowl.  It was kinda crazy because they won it with only their defense.  I literally would get scared when the offense got the ball 2 years ago.  I felt much safer when they were on defense.  So many of the games they won that season they were so lucky to win.

And that showed its ugly head last year, as they went from super bowl to zero's.  They were pathetic last year.

But this year, I have a lot of hope in them.  They are 1-1, but their record doesn't show how much they truly have improved in the off-season.  I'm seeing them move the football and have the kind of presence on offense that can help to compliment a dominating defense.  It was too bad about Sundays loss - I thought they might pull it off, but I have a feeling that the Bears are going to have a good season.

PS  Too bad about those Chargers.  They have a very unrepresentative record as well.  They'll turn it around though.

DA Bears

Hummm...I'm wondering if you really even needed to announce that you are a Bears fan...anyone that knows you, should know this very important fact about you! I remember going to SALT meetings on Sunday night and you'd have your little walk-man radio on - one ear listening to the game, the other "listening" to Paul...ahem...yeah...

Yes...

...heartbreak for all of us Chargers fans so far. Don't even get me started about the game last week... argh...

Hopefully things will turn around this week!

(By the way - Kyle, did you know that one of the Chargers is a 94 AHS graduate?!)

If the Bears....

didn't have to contend with a Packers team that looks VERY good, I'd think they'd have a pretty good shot.  I think they have a chance at a Wild Card, but the NFC East is so good that they could score both of those.

The Bears defense has looked solid and Mike Forte looks like he could be a start RB in waiting.  If Orton can take care of the ball, they should be fine...

The Charger should be fine.... but man the Broncos look tough too.  It's going to be a fun season.

Cowboys over anybody in the Super Bowl!!!
