This week, Emily and I got the priveledge of getting away (thanks Mom) to the Coast for a few days sans child.  We went to a pastoral renewal retreat that was encouraging, relaxing, challenging, and much more.  The weather was beautiful the whole time we were there and we spent some good time sitting at a great Oregon surf spot just looking at the ocean.  I tried to get Emily to surf, but she thought Juliette might be a bit of a burden...

But the highlight of the time away was a game we played with some friends called Quelf.  I don't remember a time that I have laughed so hard as we did when we were playing it.  In fact, Emily had a rule on her where she had to laugh whenever anyone else laughed.  She said her stomach hurt from all the laughing (in a good way of course).

We love the game so much that we stopped at Barnes & Noble on the way home and picked up a copy for ourselves so that we can play it with YOU!
